Access

The crags lie near the base of the Rest and be Thankful pass (A83) about one mile past Ardgartan. A section of old road separates from the main road, visible on the right as you drive up the glen. Park here for the Upper Crag or Hideaway Boulder. Park at the top of the old road (just beyond a bridge) for all the other areas. The Fernandez Boulder is 20 metres uphill from the top of the old road. Glen Croe is easily and cheaply reached by bus from Glasgow on the Citylink Campbeltown service. The bus will drop you and pick up from the bottom of the old road.
